Last weekend, a whole crew of JETAADC members were excited to volunteer another year at the Japan-America Society of Washington DC (JASWDC)‘s annual Sakura Matsuri from April 13-14. JETAADC would like to express their gratitude to the Embassy of Japan in the USA and the JET Program USA Office for extending an invitation to JET alumni in the greater DMV community to volunteer at their booth promoting the JET Program. It was wonderful to meet with potential future applicants and recently shortlisted JETs as well as reconnect with JET alumni from the DMV and those also visiting from other parts of the United States. Thank you also very much to Japanese Ambassador to the United States Shigeo Yamada for paying a visit to the booth and meeting with JET alumni.
