From July 28-30, JETAADC was honored to volunteer for this year’s Otakon, the DMV area’s largest anime convention, which drew in about 42,000 attendees this year. JETAADC board members were featured as speakers during a panel event promoting the JET Program with the Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC.
JETAADC also helped with volunteering at the JET Program booth to highlight the program to future potential applicants attending the convention. We look forward to volunteering again for 2024 Otakon, which will be the 30th anniversary of the convention!
