On Saturday, September 28th, JETAADC members took part in 2013’s National Public Lands Day by volunteering at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. The park is located on the Anacostia River, right near the DC-Maryland border.
It was a beautiful day to get out and help clear some paths and ponds, and despite getting stuck in the mud a few times, it was a lot of fun (and good exercise)! In attendance this time were Katrina Barnas, Yui Itokawa, Julie Schuble, Joel Zara, and Paul Schuble.
