Join JETs@State and JETAADC for a Panel Speaker event hosted by the U.S. Department of State at the Harry S. Truman (HST) building! This event will be an opportunity to hear from three experienced professionals with careers in U.S.-Japan and U.S.-East Asia international affairs about the ways that JET enhanced and/or catalyzed their East Asia-focused career paths. It also is a chance to connect with former JETs currently working at the State Department. Recently returned JETs are especially welcome to attend!
This event will feature the following speakers who will briefly discuss their Japan-related professional experiences:
Kemy Monahan: Outgoing Deputy Chief of Mission, Tokyo
Andrew Lee: Deputy Director, Office of Japan Affairs, Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs
Ben Parisi: Multilateral Unit Chief, Office of Multilateral Strategy and Personnel Bureau of International Organizations
