April 16, 2016 was the 56th Annual Sakura Matsuri Japanese Street Festival presented by Japan-America Society of Washington DC (JASWDC) at the Capital Riverfront!
Many JET alumni (including JETAADC & JET Alumni Association of New York (JETAANY) board members) participated as committee members/chairs and volunteers for the festival.
JET Program USA had its own booth in the “Experience Japan Through Education” section where visitors could learn about the JET Program and play the JETpardy game to win prizes!
