JETAADC is proud to present the launch of the JET Talks speaker series — a series that will feature interesting and dynamic speakers from a variety of fields and keep the conversation on Japan going.
Our inaugural event is a screening of the documentary film Live Your Dream: The Taylor Anderson Story by director Regge Life. The film is about JET Program participant Taylor Anderson and young people like her who travel the world trying to make a difference. Through interviews with her friends and family, this film traces Taylor’s life in Japan and her dedication to her host culture and its people. The film also remembers JET Program participant, Montgomery (Monty) Dickson, the only other American casualty of the tragic events of March 11, 2011. Guests will be joined by the families of Taylor Anderson and Monty Dickson as well as movie director Regge Life for a Q&A Panel following the screening of the film.
