Celebrate the National Park Service’s 100th year anniversary and explore a “hidden” treasure close to home! Theodore Roosevelt Island on the Potomac River is a pristine urban refuge that’s also surprisingly metro accessible via Rosslyn Station. We’ll be walking around the Swamp Trail (1.5 miles) and the Upland Trail (.75 miles) and enjoying the hopefully fall-ish weather. Friends of JETs, family, and dogs (on leashes) are welcome! Weather permitting, we will be meeting at the Memorial Plaza near the entrance bridge at 11 AM.
