9/27: Volunteer at National Public Lands Day

Join us as we once again volunteer at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens for National Public Lands Day 2014! The park is located on the Anacostia River, right near the DC-Maryland border and home to a variety of animals and water plants. National Public Lands Day is one of the park’s largest volunteer events, asking volunteers to help remove cut lotus, transplant perennials, and other tasks.
