7/19: Volunteer at Kenilworth Gardens

Come out and join us on Saturday, July 19th, as we enjoy and volunteer at the beautiful Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens’ Water Lily and Lotus Cultural Festival. The festival runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and includes Asian and African dance performances, tea tasting, gardening workshops, painting demos, and more. Located along the Anacostia, Kenilworth boasts the only remaining tidal marsh in DC, and is just two miles from the capital. JETAADC members will meet up in the early afternoon to enjoy the festivities and then volunteer from 3:00 to 5:00 to help take down and clean up.
