Youth For Understanding (YFU) will be hosting a group of students from the University of the Ryukyus (Okinawa) and they would like to extend an invitation to JET alumni to join them for an informal hosted dinner. Note that alumni spots are limited, so sign up as soon as you can!

Program Background: 23 Japanese students will be participating in Youth for Understanding’s Kakehashi Program. They will be learning about international diplomacy and contributing to a better global society with the added perspective of honoring the legacy of the late Senator Daniel Inouye and his push towards freedom and fairness.

What we ask you to do: JET alumni would be expected to talk with students about their experiences in Japan, how JET helped them in their professional careers, and would share advice with students seeking to begin their professional careers.
