The Washington, DC chapter of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program Alumni Association is one of 19 chapters in the United States that represents and promotes the interests of former JET Program participants. JETAADC is a non‐profit organization founded in 1990, which currently operates under the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR).
