Come join JETAADC’s November Volunteer Event!
We’ll be participating in Fannie Mae’s 23rd Annual Help the Homeless Walkathon www.helpthehomelessdc.org on Saturday, November 20, 2010.
The Walkathon starts on the Mall between 4th and 7th Streets, NW.
Check-in and t-shirt pickup begins at 7 am.
Walk starts at 9 am.
(It’s a slow pace and good for any level of physical fitness.)
The walk is approximately 2.5 miles. Please plan to wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate attire. It was cold enough last year for some people to pull out their Snuggies.
