In the Community: DCPS Beautification Day 2014

At the end of August, a group of JETAADC members and friends pitched in to help out at this year’s DC Public Schools Beautification Day – an effort to spruce up DC public schools in preparation for the new school year (hooray!). Our band of 9 headed to Neval Thomas Elementary School, where they did some landscaping work and helped set up bulletin boards and reorganize library books. It was a great group, and the site leaders and other volunteers were energetic and fun to work with.
