August EventsIn this edition of JETAADC News:

Message from the Board:

The 2013-2014 edition of Okaeri, the JETAADC Returnee Handbook is coming soon!

Currently, the new edition, in both a .pdf and wiki form, is slated to arrive late August/early September. The main difference of the new edition will be an updated Japan–In–DC Directory and an improved wiki-version (if this individual can overcome the challenges of internet-thing-creation).

At this time, you can help!

I am looking for suggestions on what should be added to the Japan–In–DC Directory. The Directory can be found at https://jetaadc.org/wiki/returnee-handbook/japan-in-dc-directory/ and includes sections such as restaurants, cultural activities, language classes, etc. Also, feel free to comment on other areas of the handbook. (Please keep in mind that I am currently more interested in suggestions for content rather than the format of the wiki.)

Please send suggestions and any questions you have to me, the Returnee Handbook Chair, at returnee.handbook@jetaadc.org. Thank you and come back again to find more information about the 2013-2014 edition of Okaeri.

Thanks,

Chrissie Skodon
