This August, DC Public Schools will hold its annual Beautification Day volunteer event, and JETAADC will be sending a group to help out!
“Beautification Day was established in 2005 as a citywide “spruce up” of all DC public school buildings in preparation for the first day of school. Some of the tasks include: general cleaning, planting flowers, and painting exterior doors. It is a great way for the whole DC community to get together and support DC public schools.”
This year it will be held on Saturday, August 23, from 9am-1pm. For more details, check out the official website.
